Conscious Community: Sunset Sounds

Additional to artistic development, the Conscious program aims to connect artists with their communities and become active leaders to inspire the next generation of artists and grow the Conscious family.

Presented by Campbelltown City Council, Sunset Sounds is a hip-hop youth showcase for aspiring local artists offering a stage, audience and industry feedback. On August 24, Sunset Sounds was held at Campbelltown Arts Centre, L-Fresh the Lion, Conscious Artistic Director, MCed the event, while Jessica Jade and Mirrah, two of this year’s Conscious artists, gave the young performers individualised feedback on their sets and shared with them their own journeys to becoming professional musicians and recording artists.
