CONSCIOUS nXT

Building on the success of Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Conscious program, Conscious NXT is a new music industry academy for young people aged 15 to 18. Developed by Campbelltown Arts Centre and Conscious Artistic Director L-FRESH The LION, Conscious NXT will bring together an experienced team of artists and industry facilitators to inspire and nurture the next generation of Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B artists, songwriters, producers, and music industry professionals in South West Sydney.

Experience a taste of what the program has to offer with CAC’s free Music Industry Sampler event on Monday 24 February, an action packed session where young people will engage with a range of hands-on challenges, offering a glimpse into the diverse career pathways within the music industry.

CONSCIOUS NXT ACADEMY

For those wanting to level up their skills, young people can apply for the Conscious NXT Academy - a creative, 10-session intensive program, running from 14 March - 5 June. Participants will gain behind-the-scenes insight - receiving mentorship and opportunities in songwriting, production, performance, marketing and business skills, paving the way for post-school pathways in the music industry.
