NEW MUSIC: Zeadala's Debut EP ‘Chapter 23’

Zeadala has just released her debut EP titled ‘Chapter 23’. The EP was produced by the legendary Mark Munk Ross - known to be the ‘Grandfather of Indigenous Hip Hop’ and was put together with the support of the Conscious program at the Campbelltown Arts Centre. It also includes a feature from John Gucci on the track ‘Love Again’.

Inspired by her life experiences and cultural heritage - ‘Chapter 23’ is beautifully articulated, with a raw organic style utilising melodic acoustic instrumentals perfectly paired with Zeadala’s sweet, harmonic vocals. Her lyrics evoke powerful messages of self empowerment, self love and heartbreak, while also having a strong focus on political and socially conscious messages. 

In her discussion about the EP - Zeadala talks about the need to be connected with the world around us and be grounded. "I would hope that the listener would be able to feel something be moved by the songs and the lyrics as well as the production... I would also want them to feel a sense of healing"
