To assist in developing artist career opportunities the Conscious program gathered the artists from the 2019 and 2020 Conscious program together on 22nd October at the Campbelltown Arts Centre for an industry development day. This event allowed for artists to connect with industry professionals and engage with each other in order to learn and enhance their careers as musicians.

The key themes of the day were focused on maximising opportunities and promoting music via digital platforms, as well as learning about the producer and artist relationship. The artists were able to connect with industry professionals from Ditto Music and Apple Music to engage and ask questions about music distribution on digital platforms. They also got to speak to Hau Latukefu from Triple J, as well as artist/producer I.amsolo and artist manager Ricky Simandjutak for a discussion on building relationships in the industry and building their career pathways.
